B2C mobile application

My mission for Collect Eat took place over four months in 2022. The goal was to conduct market research by surveying users to build an MVP in the form of a mobile application that could be put directly into their hands. This process led to the development of the app and its subsequent launch on app stores. Additionally, a back-office system was designed to manage reusable deposits efficiently.

Establishing a Cohesive Visual Identity for Collect Eat

Establishing a Cohesive Visual Identity for Collect Eat

As part of my work on Collect Eat, I developed a comprehensive design system to ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience. I created a library of reusable components, defined appropriate typography, and selected color palettes aligned with the brand’s identity. This design system ensured visual consistency across the entire application, making development more efficient while providing users with a seamless experience.

Transforming User and Restaurateur Needs into Intuitive Interfaces

Transforming User and Restaurateur Needs into Intuitive Interfaces

As a UI/UX designer, I crafted high-fidelity mockups for Collect Eat, translating the needs of both users and restaurant owners into clear and functional interfaces. The primary goal was to enable users to borrow reusable containers for free from their favorite establishments while providing restaurateurs with an efficient way to manage these containers. Using a user-centered approach, I designed intuitive user flows that allowed consumers to actively reduce waste without changing their habits and helped restaurant owners track and manage consigned containers effortlessly.

Refining the App Through User and Restaurateur Feedback

I conducted in-depth field research, interviewing both consumers and restaurant owners to understand their needs and expectations regarding container consignment. These insights provided valuable information on how containers should be distributed, used, and returned, as well as the necessary features for effective management by restaurant owners. The feedback collected was essential in refining the interfaces and optimizing the user experience, ensuring the successful adoption of the application by all stakeholders.

Promoting the Reuse of Food Containers

My involvement in the Collect Eat project helped transform how consumers and restaurant owners approach food packaging. By making reusable container borrowing free and simplifying their management for restaurants, the app actively encourages waste reduction and promotes more responsible consumption habits. My user-centered approach and design expertise contributed to creating a solution tailored to the specific needs of both users and food industry professionals, delivering an optimal user experience.
