Research
Synaps Manager is the core SaaS product of the Synaps ecosystem — a centralized platform designed to manage identity verification flows (KYC/KYB). It allows businesses to build custom verification journeys, monitor onboarding activity, track compliance metrics (KPI/AML), and manage user data — all within a unified dashboard. The main objective was to redesign the platform to make it more modular, scalable, and adaptable to a variety of client needs, while seamlessly integrating with products like Verify.
Design
The project began with a full audit of the existing solution, complemented by user research and competitor analysis. Based on this, we outlined a MVP focused on flexibility and oversight, enabling clients to both observe and influence the verification process in real time. From the first workshops, it was clear that the platform needed to accommodate a wide range of operational setups. I led the definition of the core flows, produced new wireframes, and worked with stakeholders to validate the key features before moving into the design phase.
Development
As the lead designer, I was in charge of the complete redesign of the platform. I created new interface components in Figma, built prototypes for client demos, and ran usability tests using Maze. In parallel, I conducted a series of user interviews to ensure that the new design addressed day-to-day operational needs. A major focus was improving data accessibility, compliance monitoring, and customization capabilities. Once the iterations were finalized, the documentation was compiled in Notion and handed over to developers through Linear.
Concept
Manager was a key learning experience in designing a modular SaaS platform capable of adapting to highly variable use cases. It required deep consideration of scalability, but also of how different products (like Verify KYC and KYB) could coexist and interact within the same interface. I developed a system of flexible components and data blocks that enabled clients to configure workflows, manage user statuses, and meet compliance standards — all while keeping the interface coherent and efficient.
